Rooted in the Douro.
In northern Portugal, the vineyards of the Douro rise along steep slopes shaped by schist, altitude, sunlight, and the river.
Sice 1756, the Douro is the oldest demarcated and regulated wine region in the world — a centuries-old wine landscape where generations have learned to work with an extraordinary and demanding land. In recognition of this unique heritage, the Alto Douro Wine Region was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001.
In Tabuaço, this heritage becomes part of every Carrís wine: a distinctive expression of place, character, and time.
